I think about internet culture a lot, which explains why the media I consume shines through the artwork I put out. Due to the unfortunate impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the media has been especially influential on not only me but on the rest of society who have relied on
the internet this past year as well.

It is okay to not have been as productive as you wanted. It is okay to have taken a break from working towards your goals due to the limitations presented to you. It is okay to have not felt okay, because the situation was mentally draining for all of us. You were not alone.

In Undo/Redo, the series centralizes on a theme of reassurance during a time of uncertainty. By addressing the mundane activities or routines people were confined to do, from a college student’s perspective, I wanted to shine a positive light on the situation as a reminder that even the simplest tasks were accomplishments
within themselves.

The lessons learned through this experience are important to carry out after the pandemic because, despite all the bad and the losses that happened, more attention to social injustices, mental health, and unfair workforces came to light. As long as change continues to follow, the new normal that arises from the rumble will become a little brighter.
